The Brief
FutureLearn needed to invest in their affiliate network, as the potential for both lead generation and e-commerce sales was not being realised. Webosaurus were approached to help FutureLearn improve the quality of their affiliate network by tracking both e-commerce sales from their website and their lead generation activities.
The biggest pain-point on their existing platform was the high level of fraud and the ability to control fraudulent pay-outs for both sales and leads.
Challenge
FutureLearn were also struggling to identify the intrinsic worth of a lead and the true value of an e-commerce sale due to the high levels of fraudulent activity.
Additionally, the lack of flexible commercial pay-out options restricted their ability to work with only a few partners.
Solution
FutureLearn chose to take an 18-month SAAS license subscription of the Webolytics platform to manage their Global affiliate programme more effectively.
One of the key reasons to make this investment was the ability to integrate directly into their partner's infrastructure and control fraudulent activity direct from these sources, providing accurate tracking for both e-commerce sales and lead generation.
